Registration Information
Proof of Residency
The Bedford Park District reserves the right to require proof of residency or family relationship if a doubt exists as to the actuality of the same.
Non-Resident Registration
Individuals residing outside of the Park District boundaries may register one week after resident registration. Those dates change throughout the year based on program book completion and availability. Contact the Administration Office for more information.
First Come First Serve
All programs have a minimum and maximum enrollment and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis with residents having registration one week prior to nonresidents.
False Information/Resident Priority
Persons failing to indicate Non-Resident status, or registering Non-Residents as Park District Residents will be dropped from the program without refund. Park District residents have priority in all district sponsored activities.
Family Discounts
The Bedford Park District strives to offer affordable programs for all resident and non-resident participants. Therefore, family discounts for more than one child enrolled in any park program is not available.
Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds will not be issued after the first class and must be requested no less than 5 business days before the first class meeting. Prorated refunds will be issued in cases when the Park District receives a written certificate from a physician, or the registrant moves outside of the District boundaries. A $5 service charge will be deducted from all refunds over $5, except when a medical certificate is presented in writing, or the District cancels a program. If a program is cancelled by the Park District, participants will have a choice of full refund, credit or class transfer, if available.
Non-Sufficient Funds
In the event that a program is paid for by check, and that check is returned to the District stamped N.S.F., full payment as well as a $25 penalty will be required in cash or cashiers check before attendance in a class can continue.
Proof of Age
The Bedford Park District reserves the right to require proof of age for participants.
Behavior Standards
The following standards are set to ensure that all participants have an enjoyable time while participating in park programs.
- It is unacceptable behavior to use profanity or other inappropriate language;

- or cause intentional damage or deface park property;
