Join the fun as we cruise the city trying new and different restaurants, visiting interesting places, and always enjoying great conversation.

Fall Adventure in Hannibal, MO
The year 2010 marks the 175th anniversary of Mark Twain’s birth and Hannibal has declared 2010 as “The Year of Twain”.

Our adventure begins in Burlington, IA at the Catfish Bend Casino and Resort for an overnight stay. While there you may enjoy gaming and the Edgewater Seafood Buffet for dinner or an evening sightseeing and a movie. The next morning we’re off to Hannibal with a stop in Lagrange, MO at Terribles Mark Twain Casino for lunch at the Bougainville Café or a little gaming time. After our check-in at the Best Western on the River in Hannibal, our Mark Twain Adventure begins. Dinner and movie at the Star Theater, Hannibal Trolley Tour, Riverboat Cruise, dinner at Garth Mansion, optional Haunted Hannibal Tour, and the Mark Twain Cave Complex are some of the events we will enjoy while there.

University of Notre Dame & Tippecanoe Place
Enjoy a beautiful fall day in South Bend, Indiana as we tour the University of Notre Dame. Our tour includes the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Grotto, and the Golden Dome in the main building. Prepare for walking with plenty of benches on route (a few wheel chairs available at the Visitors Center). Lunch is on your own at Tippecanoe Place.

Joan of Arc Chapel & Eagan’s on the Water
The little chapel originally known as Chapelle de St. Martin was built around the 15th Century. In 1926 it was dismantled and moved to Jericho, Long Island where it remained until 1962 when it made its final trip to Marquette University. Join us as we learn the history and mysteries that surround this unique chapel. Lunch on your own at Eagan’s on the Water following the tour.

Solid Gold Songbook
Mike Williamson and Patte Armato will take us on a sentimental journey of favorite songs from the “Big Band Era”. Lunch included in the lovely dining room of the mansion.

In the Mood at Metropolis Theater
Let’s get “In the Mood” at this salute to Veteran’s Day with one of the best big bands in the business. The band will play favorites from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and more. Lunch on your own before the performance.

Cash’d Out at Paramount Theater
Spend an evening with the man in black! Cash’d Out is the premier Johnny Cash tribute Band and the only one linked to the official Johnny Cash website. Dinner on your own at Ballydoyle Pub and a little gaming before the show.

Hello Dolly at Cahn Auditorium
Dolly Gallagher Levi is back and turning New York City upside down in her pursuit of a wealthy husband - bringing romance and joy to everyone she meets. Everyone will enjoy this razzle-dazzle performance with great show tunes, beautiful costumes, and a full orchestra, lunch on your own before the performance.
