The Community Building is home to the Administrative, Recreation, and Maintenance Offices. All administrative duties including election responsibilities are handled through this office. Anne Borsa serves as the election official for the Bedford Park District. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM until 4:30PM. The resident rate is available for party hosts currently residing in Bedford Park District Boundaries. The host must sign the rental agreement and be present during the entire party. Our residents are entitled to two parties at the reduced rate per calendar year for indoor facilities.
The Executive Board Room is the location for all meetings of the Bedford Park District Board of Commissioners. It is also available for rental on a daily basis for a nominal fee of $25.
Your next meeting will be one to remember in our tastefully decorated room. Tables can be set up for a round-table discussion or classroom style for training purposes. The room can accommodate 30 people and audio visual equipment is available. Let us know what we can do to serve you best.
The auditorium is located inside the Community Building. It is host to plays, exhibits, and our famous Parent's Night Event which is the closing ceremony for Summer Camp.
For your rental needs, this venue comfortably seats up to 160 guests. A small kitchen is available and the stage is perfect for seating the guest of honor for gift opening or for your disc jockey.
Our ceramics studio is well stocked with the equipment, greenware and paints needed to create beautiful works of art. Classes form regularly and are open to beginners as well as advanced students.
The Early Childhood Room is located in the Community Building. It serves as the location for our two playschool programs and our playtime for tots program. Playschool classes fill quickly and we begin registration on the first Monday every May for the following school year. Please contact the Administrative Office if you are interested in a tour of the room or meeting our instructors.
Plan to host your next family reunion or group function at the Bedford Park District Picnic Shelter. The Open Air Shelter overlooks the newly renovated ballfields and can seat 50 guests. The adjacent Concession Building offers indoor plumbing and kitchen facilities. Available May through October.
Walk down the aisle surrounded by flowers and say "I do" in our beautiful Gazebo. Rental for Gazebo Weddings is $1 per chair.
Meetings & Banquet Facilities
Bedford Park District will hold a date for two business days. Payment in full is due by 4PM on the second business day. If payment is not made within that time period, the room is immediately available to another interested patron.
Rental times are five hour time period which include decorating and clean-up of the room. Additional time required is billed at $50 per hour. Maximum room rental time period is eight hours.
Category 1: 5-8 tables & chairs = $150 (max. 64 people) - Residents $120
Category 2: 9-12 tables & chairs = $200 (max. 96 people) - Residents $160
Category 3: 13-16 tables & chairs =$250 (max. 128 people) - Residents $200
Category 4: 17-20 tables & chairs =$325 (max. 160 people) - Residents $260
**Events with a maximum of 96 guests includes 2 food tables, a beverage/cake table, a gift table, and a DJ table. Additional tables available for $8 each.

Residents of the Bedford Park District receive a 20% discount on all rental fees and must be present during the entire party - no exceptions.
Additional last minute set ups on the day of the event are $20 per table & eight chairs and is deducted from the secuirty deposit.
If the number of guests at the party exceeds the category maximum, a $75 fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
Chairs only - no refreshment service:
1- 50 Chairs = $100
51-100 Chairs = $125
101-160 Chairs = $150
Chairs only - with refreshment service includes a maximum of 3 refreshment tables:
1 - 50 Chairs = $150
51-100 Chairs = $200
101-160 Chairs =$250
Carnival Games available for rent at $8 each for the duration of the party. Contact the Business Office for a list of games available.
Security Deposit is $100 cash per rental and will be returned on the day of the party provided the room is vacated on time and there is no damage to the facility as determined by the Bedford Park District attendant on duty. Any discrepancies will be discussed with the Business Manager the following Monday. The Business Manager will have the final say regarding the full or partial refunding of the security deposit.
Rentals cancelled within 21 days or more notice prior to the rental will be given 100% refund. Rental cancelled between 8 and 20 days prior to rental date will be given a 50% refund. Cancellation 7 days or less are non-refundable.
